National HTA Body

Iran lacks a formal HTA mandate comparable to NICE or HITAP. HTA activities in Iran are currently dispersed across MoHME departments without central institutional oversight. The proposed HTA governance structure should include multisectoral representation. The framework recommends creating a dedicated national HTA body under the MoHME.
