The framework can include more available evidence when diagnostic networks contain continuous tests reported at multiple thresholds. Existing NMA-DTA methods are less developed than intervention network meta-analysis and mainly address binary tests or continuous tests at one common threshold. Network meta-analysis of diagnostic test accuracy combines evidence from studies evaluating multiple index tests for the same condition. The proposed framework estimates absolute and relative diagnostic accuracy, compares tests, and ranks tests.
