Neurodynamic drills produced the major sensory improvement in a post-surgical sensory loss case. The article treats neurodynamics as promising but not universally proven because the evidence base is sparse. Neurodynamic sliders are intended to encourage motion through the nervous system by coordinating movement at different ends of a neural tract. Tensioning a nerve may improve symptoms by altering the relationship between the nerve and surrounding tissues. The slider setup used slouched posture, plantarflexion and inversion, coordinated head movement, and 20 repetitions.
