NHS Tic Service Pathway

Adopting the pathway is expected to reduce diagnostic delays, misdiagnosis, and misreferral. Primary care practitioners are expected to identify tics and refer eligible children and young people to specialist services. Primary care practitioners manage medication continuation and routine monitoring after discharge from a tic pathway.
