Existing palliative care education was generally viewed as helpful by those who received it. The article concludes that palliative care is underrepresented in occupational therapy education in Germany despite its importance for OT practice. Participants who received palliative care teaching received a limited amount of instruction on average. Most surveyed German occupational therapy trainees and students had not received palliative care teaching during OT training.
