The tNGS assay covers more than 95% of common respiratory pathogens and is intended to provide rapid, economical, comprehensive detection. The tNGS assay targets 198 respiratory pathogens and resistance genes. Oropharyngeal swabs and sputum are analysed using targeted next-generation sequencing. During symptomatic periods, specimens are stored cold, transported under refrigerated conditions, and tested for pathogens.
