PERS is a psychologically informed support service in five male minimum security prisons in England. PERS is part of the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway. PERS is designed for people with likely personality disorder and high risk of reoffending during transitions from closed to open prison and from open prison to the community. Participation in PERS is voluntary.
