Ongoing support helped patients build confidence and motivation during home testing. Access to the clinical team helped participants interpret app sensitivity and failed spirometry attempts. Information and support were considered essential for successful home testing. Most participants found initial training supportive, unrushed, friendly, and sufficient for independent home testing. Some participants worried they would forget instructions after leaving the clinic and wanted clearer written materials.
