Peer-led delivery was chosen because peer support may reduce barriers to engagement. The shared peer-led group format may explain why the adapted content did not clearly add benefit beyond the standard programme. Both interventions were delivered by two trained parent group leaders with supervision from mental health clinicians. Parent group leaders were local parents with training and experience delivering parenting groups.
