Perioperative myocardial injury

Patients with PMI had a higher 30-day MACE rate than patients without PMI. Mortality was higher among patients with PMI than among those without PMI. Severe renal dysfunction and smoking history were independently associated with PMI. PMI was associated with anatomical pulmonary resections, postoperative ECG changes, and prior stroke.
