Phenomenological Framework

The framework aligns 28 underlying causes with 8 phenomenological presentations and 14 strategies. Strategies for many problems and talkative presentations were combined because they overlapped substantially. The framework organises challenging encounters by what the clinician experiences during the conversation rather than by diagnosis. The framework is intended for cases where ordinary communication skills are insufficient to keep history taking flowing. Quietness is treated as an observed phenomenon with multiple possible causes.
