PIAHA Screening Tool

PIAHA is proposed to address limitations of existing tools by scoring individual risk-factor contributions and supporting early prediction after admission. The PIAHA development analysis will use logistic regression, ROC curves, AUC, calibration, interaction assessment, and internal bootstrap validation. The PIAHA scoring model will be created in a cross-sectional development study conducted at Baqiyatallah Hospital and Shariati Hospital. PIAHA is planned as a screening tool to identify adult hospitalized patients at risk of pressure injuries after admission. PIAHA is intended to assign specific risk scores to individual predictors rather than rely mainly on broad qualitative judgment.
