Plastic Poly Pellets

Plastic poly pellets are the most common fill used in weighted blankets. Plastic poly pellets are subject to melting under heat and carry concerns associated with plastic microparticles. A large volume of plastic pellets accumulates static charge, which is cited as an additional reason to prefer an inert fill material.
