Future research should connect organisational characteristics with patient outcomes and service utilisation. Infrastructure development should be paired with workforce expansion, especially at district and regional hospitals. Referral pathways and multidisciplinary support networks should be strengthened across all levels of care. Reducing donor dependence requires coordinated procurement, supply-chain governance, and potential local or regional implant production. The article argues that strengthening orthopaedic and trauma services requires integrated planning rather than isolated interventions.
