Poultry Litter

Poultry litter in cattle feed creates a pathway for CAFO-originating materials to re-enter the human food supply. Regulations prohibit feeding poultry litter back to chickens but permit feeding it to cattle. Dried chicken feces, known as poultry litter, are used as an ingredient in conventional cattle feed.
