PRIME-AF is expected to be the largest national survey employing systematic needs assessment with PROMs in the AF population. A response rate of approximately 35%, yielding roughly 8,600 survey respondents, is anticipated. Survey distribution is planned for June 2025 with close-down in December 2025. Results will be disseminated regardless of whether they are positive, negative, or neutral, through peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and public outreach. PRIME-AF is a nationwide cross-sectional study combining survey-based and registry-based data collection, reported following the STROBE checklist. One of the study's primary objectives is to describe CR needs in AF patients using a Needs Assessment Model developed through an international Delphi consensus process.
