PRISM Framework

PRISM treats routine health information system performance as the result of interacting organisational, technical, and behavioural determinants. PRISM links technical capacity, organisational support, and behavioural factors to routine health information system performance and broader health system performance. PRISM defines performance through improved data quality and continuous use of information. PRISM is a global framework for assessing routine health information system performance, including timeliness, dependability, evidence use, and weaknesses needing improvement.
