Professional Competence

Artificial intelligence may improve data processing and research planning efficiency, but nurses must use it ethically and understand its risks. Ordinary clinical pattern recognition is distinguished from rare intuitive or energetic diagnostic ability. Exceptional intuitive diagnosis is connected to a qigong-like energetic state rather than presented as standard practitioner ability. Some diagnostic accuracy may come from accumulated clinical pattern recognition. A broad set of professional competencies including clinical reasoning, patient counselling, communication, leadership, and ethics-based teaching were identified for formal development. Experts identified artificial intelligence literacy and pharmacoinformatics as technology-related skills that should be formally developed within the Pharm.D curriculum. Nurses should strengthen research-related knowledge and seek opportunities to translate findings into practice. International elective courses in oncology, infectious disease management, mental health, and digital health were identified as priorities for inclusion in Pakistan's Pharm.D.
