Parents valued easy enrolment made possible by the research structure. After the programme, many families advocated for it by referring friends and relatives. Parents described a lack of accessible, community-based paediatric lifestyle programmes in Victoria. Parents were frustrated when paediatricians referred them to services for which their children were ineligible or that did not meet their needs. Most parents discovered the programme through random web browsing or school newsletters. Parents called for government and council support to scale web-based lifestyle programmes.
