Qualitative Case Studies

Leader, workforce, and patient data will first be analysed separately and then compared for alignment and divergence. The total planned number of interviews is 136 to 220. Interview data will be analysed using the Framework Method. The study will select 8 to 10 services of interest using purposive sampling. Each service of interest will include interviews with service leaders, workforce members, and patients or carers. Interviews will be conducted by experienced qualitative researchers with public health and healthcare research experience.
