The 18 participants came from six countries and eight guideline panels, supporting transferability across cultural backgrounds and healthcare systems. The analysis approach allows emergent constructs and project-specific risks, challenges, and opportunities to be captured. Recruitment stopped at 18 participants when thematic saturation was reached, meaning later interviews confirmed earlier findings without generating new insights. Semistructured interviews are conducted separately with up to 20 students and 20 clinicians, targeting distinct perspectives on the UTN experience. Purposive sampling will recruit information-rich participants, with data saturation expected at approximately 20-30 participants. The study used a qualitative descriptive design with thematic analysis of in-depth interviews. Credibility of qualitative findings is enhanced through an audit trail, independent analysis with interpretation comparison, and member-checking with student and clinician participants.
