A key strength is the comprehensive evaluation across effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, implementation, and SROI. Embedding assessments in routine care, involving patients and families, and using digital tools are identified as facilitators. The evaluation includes cost-effectiveness comparison of the Safer Spaces model against usual care before a possible full trial. The study found foundational guideline literacy gaps, not only gaps in specific guideline content. Time constraints, training needs, and organisational support were consistent with established implementation science literature. Non-adherence includes completing no more than 6 of 12 home visits, low system usage, or no activity for two consecutive months. The study was a convergent mixed-methods implementation evaluation, not a clinical trial, conducted across 24 general practices in Yorkshire and three London boroughs.
