Fertility, libido, and erectile function are controlled by the parasympathetic nervous system. Bodily secretions related to reproduction, including vaginal lubrication, are parasympathetic-dependent. Chronic stress or reduced parasympathetic activity can result in sterility, low sex drive, and erectile dysfunction.
