The review defined lived experience broadly to include diagnosis, treatment, life after treatment, physical and functional effects, and psychosocial aspects. Only three studies met the primary research inclusion criteria. All included studies were observational and survey-based with differing designs. Quantitative patient-reported outcomes were included as indirect evidence because no exclusively qualitative studies were found in this population. The review followed a preregistered protocol and established scoping review guidance.
