Despite initial unfamiliarity, residents quickly recognised MSF's benefits once the concept was briefly explained. Most residents were entirely unfamiliar with MSF before the interview. Medical residents in KSA enter their training essentially unaware of MSF but rapidly recognise its value and express strong willingness to participate once introduced to the concept. Awareness gaps clustered around three dimensions: the goals and purpose of MSF, the identity of key stakeholders, and the competencies MSF is designed to assess. Residents expressed uncertainty about whose feedback would carry weight and how input from sources such as patients or nurses should be interpreted.
