Retinitis Pigmentosa

Therapies for RP show potential for slowing disease progression and preserving visual function, but further robust studies are required. A review of emerging therapies for retinitis pigmentosa found only small improvements in visual acuity along with adverse events. Most studies on RP therapies had moderate risk of bias, and the evidence was moderate to low quality due to statistical and methodological heterogeneity.
