Return of Results

High-chance results trigger specialist delivery, referral for confirmatory or diagnostic testing, and clinical management. High-chance reports include pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants when they support disease risk and local clinicians can provide follow-up care. Variants of uncertain significance are not reported. Incidental findings are returned only if medically actionable and relevant for the family after multidisciplinary discussion. Families whose babies undergo genomic screening receive either a low-chance or high-chance result for study-included conditions.
