The review followed the Joanna Briggs Institute qualitative systematic review method and ENTREQ reporting guidance. Nine databases were searched for studies from 1 January 2014 to 30 September 2025. Two independent reviewers will screen titles, abstracts, and full texts. Extracted findings will be presented in tables, examined for themes, and qualitatively synthesized. The review included 29 studies from 13 countries and 952 participants. Most included studies came from high-income Western countries, which limits transferability to low- and middle-income settings. The scoping review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute methodological framework. The PubMed MEDLINE strategy will be adapted for PsycInfo, CINAHL, and Embase. Data extraction is organized around intervention characteristics, populations and needs, and outcomes. Two independent reviewers will screen titles, abstracts, and full texts, with disagreements resolved by discussion or a third reviewer. Searches will use multiple bibliographic databases and supplementary grey literature sources. The final search strategy will be adapted for five databases.
