Role Clarity

Role clarity was viewed as foundational for trust, accountability, and effective communication. Improved role clarity can make integrated care more feasible by reducing hierarchy and strengthening legitimacy. Learning about each other's roles, expertise, responsibilities, and expectations was proposed as a solution. Without role clarity, professionals struggle to know who to contact and how responsibilities should be divided. Professionals lacked sufficient insight into each other's roles and responsibilities.
