A Sarcomeal compliance rate below 70% is considered poor and results in participant exclusion from the trial. Each 38 g Sarcomeal sachet is administered as two half-sachet doses daily: one after breakfast and one before bedtime, each mixed in 200 mL of water. If an adverse event is confirmed as supplement-related, the participant stops taking the ONS and is immediately referred for specialist care. Sarcomeal is supplied by Karen Pharma Company in Tehran.
