Topical 5% permethrin cream was the primary treatment for diagnosed cases. The study used routine health data from 35 IOM-supported health facilities from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2023. All clinically diagnosed and treated scabies patients at the selected facilities during 2021 to 2023 were included. Data from 2024 onward were excluded because mass drug administration altered transmission patterns. Cases were identified through passive outpatient surveillance and diagnosed clinically using Médecins Sans Frontières clinical guidelines.
