Search and Selection Strategy

Search results will be managed in Rayyan and duplicates will be removed automatically and manually checked. Full-text screening will be conducted independently by two reviewers and checked with the research team. The team excluded “characteristics” as a search concept to keep the search broad. The review will search multiple academic databases relevant to healthcare, mental health, social sciences, and international evidence. The search will use three main concept blocks: workforce, inpatient mental health setting, and incident.
