Self-swab uptake among consenting women was very high. Digital EMR collection reduced errors and supported monitoring and quality assurance. The study is described as the first community-level hrHPV self-sampling study in Bangladesh conducted entirely in remote areas. Community trust supported the self-sampling approach because CHWs were local, female, and linguistically matched. The self-swab strategy demonstrated practical feasibility in hard-to-reach settings.
