SensiGrip was rated significantly easier to use than FLOQSwab, with a moderate-to-large effect size attributed to its ergonomic handle. SensiGrip rated significantly higher than FLOQSwab on certainty of correct sampling. SensiGrip was very strongly preferred over FLOQSwab in both primary and secondary analyses. The preference for SensiGrip over FLOQSwab was strong enough to override sequence order effects, unlike preferences involving Evalyn. SensiGrip carries a lower unit cost than Evalyn and reduces per-kit shipping weight. SensiGrip is a user-optimised device featuring an ergonomic tactile handle grip.
