Signing Physician Service

The signing physician independently screens for critical abnormal results between practitioner visits, providing a safety net. The signing physician service eliminates solo practitioners' obligation to monitor incoming results nights and weekends. Rupa provides a nationally licensed signing physician as part of the Lab Shops service to authorize patient lab orders. The signing physician service allows practitioners to offer lab ordering in states where their own license may not permit self-directed patient ordering. National licensing of the signing physician enables practitioners to offer lab ordering programs to clients across state lines.
