WP2 uses IPS availability and IPS dose per capita as independent variables to measure societal impact. Registry data from 2009-2019 will be linked at the individual level using encrypted identification numbers. IPS-like employment support in control areas could bias study results toward no effect. The study will assess outcomes including employment, welfare dependency, healthcare use, emergency care, self-harm, suicide, mortality, crime, victimisation, independent living, and economic consequences.
