Being unemployed or without a fixed job was independently associated with lower odds of adequate knowledge in multivariable logistic regression. Longer PCOS duration was strongly associated with higher odds of adequate knowledge and higher total KAP scores. Patients diagnosed with PCOS for at least one year had substantially higher total KAP scores than those diagnosed less than six months earlier. Patients without fixed employment need targeted education because they had significantly lower odds of adequate knowledge. Nearly half of study participants had been diagnosed with PCOS less than six months before the study, making early educational interventions particularly important.
