Somaliland Maternal Health Context

The findings are generalisable to women attending public health institutions in Somaliland, but not necessarily to all pregnant women in the country. Somaliland has reported high maternal and child mortality indicators. The study population was drawn from women registered for ANC services at Somaliland public health institutions.
