The standardisation sample requires at least 111 normal-hearing children aged 3–6 years. Validation evaluates MATCH SRT against PTA thresholds in normal-hearing and hearing-impaired children. ROC analysis is used to identify diagnostic cut-offs and quantify diagnostic performance. Participants are divided into three developmental age groups of 37 children each. Children undergo tympanometry, pure-tone audiometry, and otoacoustic emissions screening before MATCH testing. Standardisation establishes normative values for normal-hearing Hungarian children aged 3–6 years.
