Statin Prescribing

Less than half of the full cohort received guideline-recommended statin therapy. Nearly half of the cohort was not prescribed any statin. Among patients with ASCVD, only 39.3% received high-intensity guideline-directed statin therapy. Among patients without ASCVD, 44.3% received guideline-directed moderate- or high-intensity statins.
