Cancer survivors had modestly but significantly higher STI screening rates than cancer-free peers (24.8% vs 21.1%). STI screening prevalence in the study cohort (31.1% receiving at least one screening) was substantially higher than the French national reference figures of 7% in 2016 and 12% in 2021 for the 15–25 age group. Delays in reaching sexual milestones among cancer survivors may partially explain the smaller advantage survivors have in STI screening compared to their peers.
