Filtering by weighted STRING co-selection retained nine interactions among nine genes in three modules. Network and pathway analyses independently pointed to overlapping Alzheimer's-related mechanisms. The algorithm incorporated mean STRING interaction with the previously selected set as one of its accumulated state variables. The method used high-confidence STRING v12 protein interaction edges with combined scores above 700. STRING mapping yielded 917,347 high-confidence interactions among measured genes in the Alzheimer's dataset.
