Participants are stratified by left ventricular function into groups with and without ventricular dysfunction. The study population included 19,543 unique users with an average of 2.5 valid chats each. The evaluation included users with at least one valid chat between December 1, 2020 and May 31, 2022. The study is limited by its single-arm, single-centre phase II design, modest sample size, and lack of stratified sample-size design by primary site. A valid chat required at least four messages exchanged between user and counsellor. The study is not powered for site-specific comparisons and needs prospective validation in larger studies. The protocol’s strengths include a prospective design, clear eligibility criteria, uniform radiotherapy, fixed systemic therapy, and prespecified recurrence-free survival analysis. The study aims for 3,750 infants with acute respiratory illness. Adult clinicians from Greece were over-represented in the sample. Among OpenUp users, 41.2% reported suicidal thoughts in the previous two weeks.
