The obese subgroup is the only BMI group with significantly higher recommended steps across all activity periods. All age groups receive about 3,000 additional steps during the high-activity period, while older participants also receive more moderate-period steps. Both males and females are recommended significantly more steps during moderate- and high-activity periods. High-glucose participants receive meaningful recommended increases despite lower baseline activity than normal-glucose participants.
