Despite modest ICC values, categorical PA agreement was reasonably high at 84% for MPA, 82% for MVPA, and 76% for VPA. Test-retest reliability was moderate for weekday sitting (ICC = 0.549) and weekend sitting (ICC = 0.614), and poor to moderate for MPA, VPA, and MVPA. The male subgroup of only 12 participants was too small for reliable validation, leaving cIPAQ-SF measurement properties in overweight or obese men unknown. If the retest shows favorable change in a personal limitation, the breathing exercise was likely performed well enough to keep using that setup. The person should choose a meaningful movement limitation, perform the breathing activity, and retest the movement. A notable pattern emerged where participants reported lower MPA, VPA, and MVPA on the second administration, potentially due to device-related self-consciousness. A self test-retest helps determine whether a breathing activity is effective. Toe touch, squat depth, overhead shoulder flexion, and deadlift performance without back tension are examples of retest movements.
