Thematic Analysis

NVivo qualitative analysis software will be used for coding and analysis. Three Maynooth University researchers will each independently analyse three transcripts per participant group and develop codebooks before meeting to agree a master codebook. Thematic analysis will identify common themes across participants' experiences, using emergent codes generated from the data rather than predefined categories. The diffusion of innovations in health service organisations framework will guide analysis of how innovations are adopted, scaled, and sustained. The learning organisation framework will guide exploration of how a culture supporting innovation is developed and maintained among frontline staff. A human-centred design approach will be used after theme generation to develop actionable insights into innovators' unspoken and latent needs.
