Tooth Powder

Tooth powder is easier to travel with than conventional toothpaste because it is dry and not subject to liquid container restrictions. Tooth powder may have environmental and shipping advantages over toothpaste because it is more concentrated, lighter, and may require less packaging. Tooth powder can be formulated without glycerin, triclosan, SLS, fluoride, artificial colors, artificial flavors, or sweeteners. Unsweetened tooth powder can still be palatable because mint or other non-sweet flavoring provides taste without activating sweetness pathways.
