The pilot's primary outcomes are improved DSW knowledge, confidence, awareness, and attitudes regarding psychotropic medicines and behaviours of concern. Secondary face-to-face outcomes include training satisfaction, reduced inappropriate medicine use through reviews, and improved advocacy confidence. The evaluation will use mixed methods to assess impact, barriers, and enablers. Phase Four interviews will include about 30 trainees and some people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and families.
