Treatment interventions

The review will compare pharmacological and non-pharmacological monotherapies for post-stroke depression. Usual care is a control condition only when it lacks active depression-targeting components. Usual care containing structured psychotherapy or fixed-dose named pharmacotherapy will be treated as an active intervention.
