U-KNOW-RT

U-KNOW-RT focuses primarily on renal transplantation to allow comparison with the landmark Edwards undergraduate studies. The primary student outcome is ODT knowledge, measured using a 6-item score from 0 to 6, with adequate knowledge defined as at least 4 correct answers. The knowledge cut-score of 4 out of 6 was established using a modified Angoff standard-setting procedure with five judges. Secondary student outcomes include a composite exposure index, attitudes on a 0–10 Likert-based scale, comfort in donation discussions, and career intentions. U-KNOW-RT targets final-year medical students because they have completed most of their curriculum and had the maximum chance of exposure to available teaching.
